NOTICE FOR ORIENTATION OF B.TECH FIRST YEAR
STUDENTS

It is hereby notified to all
students who have been admitted to the 1st year
B.Tech class of this college during the current academic
session (2010-11) that the regular classes are scheduled to
commence as per the following programme.
Date : 04.09.2010
Boys and girls who are
desirous of staying in college hostels, are required to
report at the college auditorium positively at 8.30 AM on
04.09.2010. Those who have not completed the payment of
hostel charges must come prepared to complete the same on
the spot.
For students whose full
payments are received by 9 AM, allotment of hostel seats
will be made through lottery. There are 110 seats for 1st
year boys and 75 seats for 1st year girls.
Whereas the college stands committed for hostel allotments
to all those who complete the payment of hostel dues by
02.09.2010, for others, seats will be allotted subject to
availability on first-cum-first-serve basis. All
Registration formalities of these students will be completed
on this day.

All students of 1st
year B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engg and Electronics &
Telecommunication Engg) will have to be present in the
College Auditorium at 9 AM for the Orientation Ceremony. The
ceremony will last for about 3 hours. Not more than one
guardian will be allowed to accompany the student to this
function. The registration formalities will be completed
on this day (Except students opting for hostels).
Date : 05.09.2010 (Afternoon)
All students of 1st
year B.Tech (Information Technology and Computer
Science & Engg) will have to be present in the College
Auditorium at 1.30 PM for the Orientation Ceremony. The
ceremony will last for about 3 hours. Not more than one
guardian will be allowed to accompany the student to this
function. The registration formalities will be completed
on this day (Except students opting for hostels).

The weekly time table for
classes would have been made available to all students
during the orientation. Classes shall begin at 8 am in the
Administrative Block. Students staying in hostels will come
by college buses right from this day. They will start from
hostels between 7.30 and 7.45 am to reach the college at
7.50 am. All day scholars will have to make their own
arrangements for this day, both for coming to college
and for going back. However, on this day itself, they will
be allotted their bus routes so as to enable them to use the
bus facilities from 7th September 2010 onwards.

N.B :
(i) In the hostel, we shall
provide a Cot (Without mattress or pillow), a study table
and a chair in a shared room. Rest of the articles (to be
required) have to be brought by the student.
(ii) On registration as above,
each student will receive a student kit which will include
the time table, 3(Three) most essential textbooks and the
dress material for college uniform. College I-card, college
blazer with tie & regular bus pass will be issued within a
month of commencement of classes.
